GyroSynth App Reviews

Fun to use, some pretty interesting sounds can be generated with Gyro. A few things are keeping me from being able to use this in my music: Im having trouble figuring out how to reproduce the useful sounds I get, usually by chance, and I cant reproduce? I could either be a little GyroDeficient, or maybe it just needs some tweeks? I think it needs more, or better usable synth sounds, more musical, less noisey, non musical stuff-sound-things. Kinda like MorphWiz and SampleWiz, both Amazing apps, but a little too many non musical presets IMO. All in all, great fun interesting musical app.

This app was fantastic, but now sample record doesnt work, and hasnt worked for the past few versions. Please fix!!!! But even with broken sample record, its a fun gadget to generate some great glitchy textures.

I just purchased this app and it force closes on iOS 8. Im sure it would be great if I could actually use it.

Crashes on startup.

it does not open. It needs to be updated to iOS 8.

I have had a lot of fun with this app, but it stopped working with IOS 8. Update it and it will be 5 stars

Im like everybody else. It used to work and was great, iphone 5 ios7. But now iOS 8 iPhone 6 not booting up.

Can we get labels for the notes....spell it out, please

I have loved this app forever but was pretty bummed when it didnt work with iOS 8. Now it does!!! Woo Hoo! Just one thing though is Ive never been able to get the sampler to actually record from my mic input. Not on the previous version or this one. Other than that I absolutely love it.

Whats the point of having a record button if it doesnt work? Its been like this at least since iOS 6 when I got my iPhone 5. Now that they released an update for iOS 8, I though it wouldve been addressed, but I was very wrong, what else can I say.

This thing is just awesome. Update please! It needs more features. There needs to be option of all octaves available at once- middle C reset location and choice over sensitivity and pitch change direction. A realtime display of note and sharp/flat. Vibrate at pitch change option- Screen touch buttons/surfaces options for manipulation live. Add reverb and control over reverb/delay parameters. More midi control options. Please consider these ideas and update this app.

Please keep this app going as its a wonderful product. Updated AB sdk etc. keeps the professional musicians interested as well.
